Federal and Provincial Government
The federal and provincial governments have committed matching amounts to the restoration of the Kinsol Trestle.
The Island Coastal Economic Trust provides funding to create new and sustainable regional economic growth through strategic investments in targeted “sectors” with the north Island, coastal and Sunshine Coast regional economy.
The Trans Canada Trail is the world’s longest network of trails. When completed, the Trail will stretch 22,000 kilometres from the Atlantic to the Pacific to the Arctic Oceans, linking 1000 communities and 33 million Canadians. Today, more than 15,500 kilometres of trail have been developed.
