Donor Recognition Opportunities
In addition to receiving a tax receipt, all donations to the Kinsol Trestle will be recognized for all time in various ways, depending on the donation. Some of the options include having your name added to a commemorative donor display which will be on display at the Kinsol Trestle, as well as being added to the donor wall on the Kinsol.ca website and included in donor recognition advertisements in local news media.
As part of the recognition program, five special recognition categories have been established.

Gifts & Grants of $100,000 and more

Gifts of $100 or more will be recognized in a permanent wood beam shelter adjacent to the Trestle that will also showcase information about the Cowichan/Trans Canada Trail and the history of the Kinsol Trestle. A full-page advertisement in the local paper at the close of the campaign will acknowledge all donors.
Press releases will be issued throughout the Kinsol Trestle Capital Campaign to highlight the support of major donors. This media coverage will serve to thank donors and supporters for their generosity and will also encourage others to follow their example.
